R4G-GEN2 cellular with flex carrier technology paired with the rust-free, composite Universal Tree Mount. The ultimate set up for all trail camera users!

The R4G GEN2 has an updated PIR and camera sensor with the same features as the original R4G. The GEN2 also has a threaded DC port for external power much like the R4G Lite. You can now buy the DC armored cable from our store, and it will thread-seal into place without the fear of critters climbing on them and pulling them out of the camera.

The R4G is our flagship cell camera model and is built with top-of-the-line 4G/LTE technology. A trigger speed of less than .04 sec ensures you won’t miss a thing. The R4G offers proprietary Dual Lens and Dual Sensor Technology. Anti-fog lenses and weatherproof housing, the R4G will continue to perform no matter what mother nature throws at you. Cell plans start as low as $3.00/month. With the use of our OneSim technology, you never have to worry about a specific provider, just purchase data and let the camera do the work for you!

So far I am happy with this camera. I have used several other high end cameras and when comparing I dont see much difference. The set up was a breeze, the app is great and the quality of photos are in line with the top of the food chain. I have both this camera and the 4gLite. My only reason for not giving 5 starts is this camera does not have the threads to allow the external power to screw in as advertised on the solar panel. The 4gLite does and works great. The power will still plug in but doesn’t screw in for that anti varmint control.

Bottom line they work where nobody can get cell service. Tried 3 “other” brands and BlackGate is the best for me where I am. Customer service top notch. Glad I trusted the man behind the company. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you sir!!

I have used and tested almost every camera out there, and I will say these Black Gate Trail cams are far superior. They do not scare game, they do not miss movement, they’re super easy to use, the data plans aren’t taking advantage of you like other brands, and the picture quality is just that much better! I love them and will be getting more as I transition all of the others to BG’s.

I have used many other brands that have had trouble getting signal on parts of the farm consistently! Heard of these listening to working class bowhunter podcast and decided to give it a try! Price point is good quality is great and so far no issue with getting signal where others couldn’t! Definitely worth a look for anyone but definitely with guys with poor or no signal from other brands!

I do t know where to start. I have been using other cameras that don’t work as described for so long it is t funny. I found myself searching for answers that I didn’t need, steps that I missed, and well just over complicating it. Now that I have graduated from the Black Gate Camera rehab, it’s simple. Open app, follow very simple instructions, buy a plan that is literally as simple and cost effective as it sounds. FINAL STEP : Sit back and enjoy amazing pictures and video worry free at a much smaller operating cost than any other brand. Their customer service, should you have a question, is second to none. Felt like I was asking a buddy for help, not some customer service agent who just wanted to get rid of me. The camo looks amazing, and the transmitted non HD photo looks better than some “other” brands transmitted full HD.
